GACKT & FANTASTICS' Yagi Yusei to appear in new full-cast TV commercial

■GACKT is appointed as the first “Baito-ryo”, and FANTASTICS’ Yagi Yusei struggles in various costumes!

The new Fullcast TV commercials, featuring GACKT and FANTASTICS’ Yagi Yusei as commercial characters, “If you want to earn money” (15 seconds) and “Repeat part-time jobs too” (15 seconds), will begin airing nationwide (excluding some areas) from July 18th.

In the “If You Want to Earn Money” episode, GACKT is inaugurated as the first “Baito-ryo” of the Fullcast Republic, and declares to the large audience his “More Earn Money Plan,” and while striking the “1day” pose, appeals to the audience that there are plenty of one-off part-time jobs. Yusei Yagi and others dressed as part-timers also shout “1day is plentiful! (Janjan),” promoting the story as they work.

The “Repeat Part-Time Jobs” episode features reporters, including Yusei Yagi, interviewing GACKT, the first “baito-ryo”, about the “Repeat Part-Time Job Promotion Reforms” such as relaxing restrictions on the number of days and pay for repeat part-time jobs. The episode ends with the catchphrase “1day Abundant! (Janjan)” if you want to earn money from one-off part-time jobs while posing for “1day”.

■ Filming episodes
This commercial was shot in June at a studio near Tokyo. GACKT greeted all the staff before entering the set. After receiving an explanation of the commercial from the director, he took the shoot seriously. During the filming of the “If You Want to Earn Money” episode, after the director had given the OK for a scene, he suggested new movements to shoot it, leaving an impression with his pursuit of quality. He also requested to reshoot a scene with a short line of dialogue, and continued filming until he was satisfied.

In the “Repeat Part-Time Jobs” episode, which was shot with many extras, GACKT made them laugh by saying, “Today is 1 day full of abundance! (Janjan)?”, a play on the CM’s catchphrase, “1 day full of abundance! (Janjan)?”, but he was also seen praising them. The shoot lasted a long time, but GACKT’s attitude of focusing on quality throughout the shoot drew praise from the staff.

Besides his work with FANTASTICS, Yagi Yusei is also active as an actor in TV dramas and movies. He effortlessly fulfilled detailed instructions from the director about his acting, such as “a reaction that seems a mixture of surprise and joy” and “to act arrogant but also humble,” demonstrating his excellent acting ability.

Even during filming, she worked diligently with the director to fine-tune her acting image, and in between takes, she chatted with the staff and got excited about the outfit she wore in the “If You Want to Earn Money” commercial, saying, “It looks like the outfit in a drama I used to watch.” The shoot was conducted in a relaxed atmosphere from start to finish.
