The theme song for the drama "Such a Family, Why Not Throw It Away?" starring Nogizaka46 member Renka Iwamoto has been decided to be a new song by Penthouse.

The theme song for the drama “Sonna Kazoku Nara Sutechaeba?” starring Renka Iwamoto (Nogizaka46) and Terunosuke Takezai (Kansai TV / Broadcasting starts on July 18th * Kansai local / Exclusive unlimited streaming on DMM TV) has been decided to be Penthouse’s new song “Hanataba no Youna Jinsei ni”. The song will be released digitally on July 17th.

“If That’s Your Family, Why Not Just Throw It Away?” is a superb “family mystery” based on a popular comic that has sold over 1 million copies, depicting the unstoppable chain reaction of a family’s breakdown.

On the other hand, the theme song, “A Life Like a Bouquet for You,” is a classic ballad that sings of the love between parent and child, singing, “A world filled with love is a miracle you gave us,” in stark contrast to the drama’s depiction of a family falling apart.

A listening party will be held on July 17th at midnight, a YouTube Live to celebrate the release will be held at 11pm, and the music video will be released after the live broadcast. Don’t miss Penthouse’s new song along with the drama that starts airing on the 18th.

“A Life Like a Bouquet for You” is a song about the warm gaze of a parent towards their child.
The relationship between parent and child is strong yet fragile, and I believe it is something that is constantly changing. However, I believe that in that long relationship, there are always moments filled with love. I have taken those beautiful moments and made them into a song.
After all, none of us in Penthouse have children yet, so it was difficult especially writing the lyrics, but we wrote the song while imagining the feelings our parents must have had towards us when we were children.
The story of the drama often depicts some pretty difficult times, but I hope this song can provide some solace during those times.
