Yuka’s music video premiere for “Sunshade,” the theme song for the drama “Warau Matryoshka” has been announced

Yuka will premiere the music video for her new song “Sunshade” on YouTube at 8pm on July 19th.

“Sunshade,” which was released digitally on June 28th, was written as the theme song for the currently airing TBS Friday drama “Warau Matryoshka.” The lyrics were written by Yuka and the music was composed by ONE OK ROCK guitarist Toru and Yuka.

“I was attracted to the image of a parasol from part of the original novel (that the drama is based on), so I wanted to create a song with the theme of “shade of the sun,” and I developed the lyrics around that. Even things that we take for granted may come to an end. Being aware of this may connect us to the important “light” of living without regrets,” says Yuka.

A preview of the music video is currently available on YouTube. Be sure to pre-order it and prepare for its release on the 19th.
