Watanabe Miho & Kimura Masaya (INI) co-star in the movie “Atashi no!”, heart-throbbing “sudden closeness & head pat” photos released

■ “Cinnamon” by Cho Kyu Mei has been selected as the insert song

From the movie “Atashi no!” (released on November 8th) starring Miho Watanabe and Masaya Kimura (INI), a new cut has been released showing Akoko Sekigawa (Watanabe) and Naoki Otomo (Kimura) in yukatas getting closer and patting each other on the head… a heart-thumping scene is sure to make your heart flutter. In addition, the song “Cinnamon” by Chokyumei, an up-and-coming band that is a hot topic on TikTok, has been selected as the insert song.

The new cut shows Akoko and Naoki suddenly getting close. While Akoko, Naoki, Mitsuki Taniguchi (Nagisa Saito), and Ao Narita (Jutaro Yamanaka) are enjoying themselves at the aquarium in their yukata robes, Akoko gets separated from the others and gets lost. Naoki finds her and pats her on the head, smiling fondly and saying, “Sorry I’m late.” It’s a heart-pounding scene that conveys Akoko’s excitement.

In this scene, Chow Kyu Mei plays a ballad song called “Cinnamon,” which expresses the beginning of a bittersweet love. The song “I Want to Be Your Lover” from their first album released in 2023 became a viral hit not only in Japan but also in Asia. Chow Kyu Mei is a rising star who is attracting attention as an artist with the greatest potential to take off. They are a hot topic artist who are creating a lot of addicts, especially among teenagers.

The image of the sparkling water in the aquarium gently enveloping the couple, the melody of the insert song “Cinnamon” by Cho Kyumei that expresses a faint feeling of love, and the clear singing voice of vocalist Rei all support the course of Akoko’s innocent love.

A love battle entertainment film based on Akoko’s “most positive youth” for all mankind who are in love or want to be in love, “Atashi no!” will be released nationwide on November 8th at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya and other theaters!

■Chokyumei Comment
I’m Chokyuumei, and I’ve been given the opportunity to sing the insert song for the movie “Atashi no!”

I wrote this song, “Cinnamon,” thinking about my irreplaceable friends and loved ones.
The song starts with a sad piano intro and wraps you in a soft texture. The melody plays like the waves ebbing and flowing, expressing a wavering heart.

When I had the opportunity to see the finished film in advance, I was deeply moved by how beautifully the aquarium scenes and “Cinnamon” were intertwined.
We hope you enjoy the movie and look forward to the exciting scenes where “Cinnamon” plays!
