A new development in the third episode of the drama “Aoshima-kun is Mean,” starring Shota Watanabe (Snow Man) and Anne Nakamura! Will fake love finally turn into real love?

■The total number of views for episodes 1 and 2 has exceeded 4 million!

The third episode of TV Asahi’s Oshidora Saturday drama “Aoshima-kun is mean,” starring Watanabe Shota (Snow Man) and Nakamura Anne, will be broadcast from 11pm on July 20th.

Based on the manga of the same name by Yoshii Yuu, this work is a romantic comedy that depicts the “love pact” that begins with a small lie between Aoshima Mizuki (Watanabe), a younger, fasting guy who has no interest in romance, and Katsuragi Yukino (Nakamura), a 35-year-old dried-fish girl who has given up on romance.

Following the first episode, the second episode, which aired on July 13th, also stole the show with its parade of heart-pounding scenes.

Viewers were excited about Aoshima’s “#BabyBusyTaxi” where he carried the drunk Yukino home, saying, “Aoshima-kun is such a gentleman and such a nice guy!!!” and “It’s only the second episode and I’m so excited it’s crazy.”

And at the climax, which saw Aoshima jump on top of Yukino as she collapsed in the entranceway in a “#tipsyfloorthump”, viewers were in a festive mood with comments like “I’d like to do the #tipsyfloorthump from a #backcar taxi, even in my dreams”, “The last scene ended at an incredible moment!!” and “It felt like this drama was only 30 seconds long”.

When Aoshima said, “I’m glad I got to meet you today, Yukino. I got to see your face without makeup,” Yukino got embarrassed and hid her face with a chopstick case, “#BashfulChopsticks,” and many people’s hearts were struck by the cuteness of the age-gap couple, with comments like “Yukino is too cute,” “It feels like the two of them have gotten closer, it’s great,” “Personally my favorite scene in episode 2,” and “I’m going to get another chop stick.”

It was also revealed that this exchange, in which Aoshima imitates Yukino and fights back while covering his eyes, was ad-libbed by Watanabe and Nakamura, and many people commented that they were captivated by Watanabe and Nakamura’s acting, which realistically portrayed the gradually closing distance between the two and the atmosphere that suggests the beginning of love.

Also, Yukino, who spent a “three-day shut-in holiday” by herself, received a flood of sympathy, with the second episode airing during the three-day holiday, with comments such as “I can totally relate to Yukino”, “Yukino’s holiday… was just me”, and “It’s common to not go out or talk to anyone for three whole days.”

Along with the heart-fluttering scenes, which became hot topics with hashtags such as “#BackPiggyTaxi”, “#TipsyFloorSlam”, and “#ShyChopSticks”, “how Yukino spent her three-day weekend” also attracted attention.

The total number of views for the first episode of the show that was missed broke the all-time record for the Oshidora slot (calculated by Video Research, period: July 7th to July 13th). The second episode also ranked first in TVer’s overall rankings, and has already exceeded 1.65 million views (calculated by Video Research, period: July 13th to July 18th). The cumulative number of views for episodes 1 and 2 has exceeded 4 million (calculated by Video Research, period: July 7th to July 18th), continuing its rapid advance.

■ After “#TipsyFloorDon”… Aoshima, a boy who doesn’t like to eat, has his heart moved, and his fake love turns into real love!?
The second episode ended with the most heart-pounding scene, with Aoshima covering Yukino who was drunk and about to fall backwards, and Aoshima holding her down as she tries to get up, saying “I’m fine now,” and slowly moving closer to her. The third episode, airing on July 20th, will depict what happens after “#TipsyFloorDon”.

Yukino instinctively closes her eyes, wondering if he’s going to kiss her, but Aoshima’s meanness explodes here as well. As Aoshima continues to boss her around, with the same carefree attitude as always, Yukino is perplexed by the situation in which she “finds herself thinking about Aoshima.”

Even after that incident, Aoshima’s attitude at work remains exactly the same as before. Unlike Yukino, who is filled with awkwardness, Aoshima always seems calm, which makes Yukino feel more and more uneasy.

However, to his friend Tanizaki Shinji (Tozuka Junki), his second mother Tamura Tamayo (Ito Shuko), and his third mother Shinohara Reiko (Yada Akiko), it seems that Aoshima has finally fallen in love for the first time… Aoshima, who had no interest in romance, cannot believe what they say and is lost in thought, “Me…? That’s a lie, right?”

In the midst of all this, a big incident occurs that causes Aoshima’s feelings to change drastically, and the fasting boy Aoshima finally falls in love. At that time, Yukino, who has been avoiding romance for a while…

Finally, will the fake love turn into a real love? Don’t miss the new developments in the third episode, where changes come to the two who continue their “contract love”. New cute photos have also been released ahead of the broadcast.
