Da-iCE’s “instrument-free” special performance on Music Station’s 3.5-hour special has received a huge response



■Performed the “I wonder” version from “THE FIRST TAKE”!

Da-iCE appeared on the three and a half hour special of TV Asahi’s “Music Station” which aired on July 19th.

This was already their second appearance since their first appearance on May 17th, and they performed “I wonder -THE FIRST TAKE ver.-” on a special stage exclusive to Music Station.

New Shibuya-kei harmony pop group Nagie Lane, who also appeared on “THE FIRST TAKE,” and human beatboxers Daichi, Bayashi, and Kanburi also appeared and performed a special arrangement that did not use instruments.

The lyrics for “I wonder” were written by member Taiki Kudo, and the music and lyrics were composed by Sota Hanamura. Since its release, the song has been ranked high on the charts of various streaming and download services, and has been played over 700 million times on TikTok.

The easy-to-do “#DiceKuruKoiDance,” which features the choreography of a remote control going “beep” and the key phrase “The sound has stopped,” is currently a hot topic.

Also, on the “Disney Special Stage,” Yudai Ohno and Sota Hanamura appeared and performed “A Whole New World” from “Aladdin.” Their expressive singing and overwhelming vocal talent moved the audience to tears.

After their performance, many people posted comments on social media about Da-iCE’s performance, such as “It was the coolest stage ever!”, “I was really moved by the level of Da-iCE’s performance!”, and “I was happy to see the a cappella version of “I Wonder” on TV!”

Da-iCE will release the digital single “Story” on July 8th, and their new album “MUSi-aM” on October 2nd.
