MAZZEL has been selected as the featured artist for August on TV Asahi’s “M:ZINE (ENGINE).”
TV Asahi’s music variety show “M:ZINE” invites one featured artist each month to create a “zine” (fan magazine) that specializes in music, and asks them “whatever interests them as a fan” to draw out their true feelings.
This time, the editorial staff producing the “ZINE”, Mrs. GREEN APPLE guitarist Wakai Koto, TV Asahi announcer Hayashi Mio, and Yamazoe Hiroshi of Aiseki Start, who is participating for the first time, will delve deeper into the appeal of the hyper-multifaceted eight-member band MAZZEL.
Over the course of three weeks, the show will be packed with a variety of content, including a dance collaboration with Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s Wakai, behind-the-scenes stories from the music video for their new song “Seaside Story,” which was digitally released on July 5th, improvisational dancing, rap, and girls’ dancing that showcase the members’ personalities and skills, and the traditional Wakai Photo Studio.
Additionally, CS TV Asahi Channel 1 will broadcast the complete 90-minute version titled “M: ZINE Complete Edition – The Charm of New Generation Dance & Vocal Group MAZZEL at Full Display SP” from 12:00 on August 24th, which will include studio talk that could not be accommodated on terrestrial broadcasting, as well as a special interview after recording that can only be seen on CS broadcasting.
