■Amagi (Ninomiya Kazunari) declares that he will once again hold a public surgery to announce his appointment as center director and the naming of the animal!

“Black Pean Season 2,” a drama starring Ninomiya Kazunari, is broadcast on TBS every Sunday from 9 p.m.

In the third episode, which aired on July 21, Amagi (Ninomiya), who was appointed as the first director of the new hospital under planning, voluntarily names the hospital “Surijie Heart Center”. However, Saeki (Uchino Masaaki) scolds him, saying that he should first explain the situation to local people, and Amagi announces that he will once again hold a public surgery to announce his appointment as director and the naming of the hospital.

Then, they find a potential patient who needs direct anastomosis, a surgical technique that only Amagi can perform, but they discover that this is the work of Sugai (Danta Yasunori) from Ishin University, and they have a hard time finding a patient who satisfies Amagi’s needs…

Meanwhile, Amagi decides to perform direct anastomosis under one condition. Next, he makes a bet with God, and which patient will undergo Amagi’s surgery?

Furthermore, Amagi tells Sera (Ryoma Takeuchi) that the success rate of this operation is 0 percent. Furthermore, he even sets a time limit for the operation. What is the reason for this?

■Following on from season 1, Koji Kato, musical queen Mari Hanafusa, and renowned supporting actor Tetsuhiro Ikeda will be guest starring in episode 4!
Ahead of the broadcast of the third episode, it was announced that Koji Kato, Mari Hanafusa, and Tetsuhiro Ikeda will appear as guests in the fourth episode, which will air on July 28th.

This will be Kato’s first appearance in a TV drama since “Black Pean” (2018), and he will continue to play the role of Ikenaga Hideto from season 1.

Ikenaga is the editor-in-chief of the Japan Surgical Journal, the most authoritative medical journal. He is a key figure in the race to become president of the Japanese Medical Association, a position that is being contested between Saeki of Tojo University and Sugai of Ishin University, and is interested in medical AI, which Ishin University is focusing on.

Hanaso, a former top actress in the Cosmos and Yuki troupes of the Takarazuka Revue, continues to captivate audiences on stage. The role she plays is Kazuko Tojima, a lawyer famous for her role in medical litigation.

She claims that Amagi’s actions of performing dangerous operations on patients and demanding huge fees constitute fraud, and leads a civic group to storm into Tojo University. She is actually Miwa’s (Aoi Wakana) mother, and coldly tells Miwa to quit Tojo University, but she suddenly collapses at Tojo University…

Ikeda, who is a famous supporting actor who has appeared in various productions, as well as directing and scriptwriting, plays Noda Yoshiyuki, a doctor at Ishin University. He will be using the latest medical AI “Elcano,” developed by Ishin University and the one Sugai is most passionate about, to fight against Amagi.

“Elcano” is the latest medical technology that can instantly analyze the optimal medical plan for each individual case from medical databases around the world by reading the patient’s medical records, and can guide doctors through image analysis during surgery. The latest medical AI or a genius doctor, who will win?

Six years have passed since Tokai (Ninomiya) left Tojo University. Will Sera, who has begun his career as a surgeon, Saeki, who has become the hospital director and is plotting a new plan, and Amagi, a world-renowned genius surgeon, bring good or bad luck? Each of them has their own desire for medical care.
