NMB48 has released a promotional video on their official YouTube channel that is in line with their theme, “From Osaka to the World.”
NMB48 is based in Namba, Osaka, and is working on the theme of “From Osaka to the World,” with a view to worldwide activities. They have also been in the spotlight for being appointed as a special supporter of the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo.
The three videos released this time are “Gourmet Edition”, “Date Edition” and “Prayer Edition”. These videos were created based on the content of the presentation by selected members in the “From Osaka to the World – NMB48 Promotional Movie Presentation Project”, which was included as a bonus video for the regular edition (Type-A, Type-B, Type-C) of the single “Is This Love?” released on May 22nd.
The “Gourmet Edition” features Kanon Binno, Chihiro Kawakami, Yuina Deguchi, Rei Haga, and Mai Hirayama. It’s a typical NMB48 video introducing Osaka gourmet food.
The “Date Edition” features Ayano Izumi, Nao Nizawa, Wakana Sumino, Nozomi Yamamoto, and Kaiyu Wada. The video allows viewers to experience a virtual date around the famous sights of Osaka with the members.
Abe Wakana, Kojima Karin, Sakata Kokorosaki, Sakurada Sayaka, Shiotsuki Kiion, and Jonishi Rei appear in the “Prayer for a Hit” episode. The members are shown visiting a famous shrine in Osaka, and at the end, Abe is seen composing a haiku.
Both promotional videos are packed with the charm of NMB48, something that only NMB48 could produce, and are a must-see for both those who have already checked out their new song “Is This Love?” and those who haven’t.
