Rira Ikuta appears on the cover and opening pages of "Soen"! Teaming up with Mika Ninagawa on a journey through the "DIGILOGUE" space

Ikuta Rira will appear on the cover and opening page of the September 2024 issue of “Soen” (on sale July 26th).

The September issue of Soen will feature a project focusing on the digital and analogue aspects of fashion and its visual expression, and will invite you into a world of mixed digital and analogue, teaming up with singer-songwriter Rira Ikuta, who has written numerous songs for commercials and TV dramas, and photographer and film director Mika Ninagawa.

In addition, a triple collaboration has been realized with the digital art of Saeko Ehara, an artist whose work Ninagawa has been checking out for many years. A special visual will be created in which Ikuta travels through the imaginary “DIGILOGUE” space, a digital world dreamed of in the analog era. In addition, a conversation between Ikuta and Ninagawa about “digital and analog” as creators will be published.

NEWS Masuda Takahisa’s serial MFBB welcomes art director Yajima Sayoko to take on the challenge of visual creation. Yajima, who is particular about live-action photography and creates his own unique worldview that is fantastical and colorful, actually flexibly incorporates digital technology such as 3D printers to depict his worldview. Masuda dives into a fictional Japan that may exist somewhere, born from the encounter between Yajima and Masuda. A creative talk about digital and analog is also included.

From HiHi Jets, Ryo Hashimoto, who starred in the drama “Crashing JK and the Botched Teacher Lesson 2,” and Soya Igari, who will appear in two movies this summer, “Teacher’s White Lie” and “We Don’t Know Love,” appeared on Soen Danshi. They talked about their current feelings and thoughts. Also, pay attention to their slightly different appearances, dressed in the latest autumn and winter fashions.

In this issue, Soen Boys will be featured in an expanded version spanning a total of eight pages.
