Stray Kids’ new digital single “SLASH” began streaming at 6pm on July 23rd.

“SLASH” is the insert song for the movie “Deadpool & Wolverine,” which will be released nationwide on July 24th.

The song was written and composed by Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han of Stray Kids’ production unit 3RACHA, specifically for the film “Deadpool & Wolverine.”

In 2021, Stray Kids performed a stage performance inspired by the world of Deadpool on the survival show “KINGDOM: LEGENDARY WAR,” which aired on South Korea’s Mnet, pitting artists against each other.

Later, Ryan Reynolds, the star of Deadpool, responded to Stray Kids’ performance on social media, declaring himself a STAY (the name for Stray Kids fans), which became a hot topic.

Furthermore, the members of Stray Kids deepened their direct interactions on social media with Ryan Reynolds and his best friend Hugh Jackman, who played Wolverine in the X-Men film series, drawing attention from around the world and involving the music and film industries.

In addition, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman make a special appearance in the music video for “Chk Chk Boom,” the lead track from the Korean mini-album “ATE,” released on July 19th.

The two then collaborated on a song for the film “Deadpool & Wolverine,” starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
