XG announces release date for 2nd mini album

■The first pre-release song, “SOMETHING AIN’T RIGHT,” will be released on July 26th!

XG’s second mini album (title undecided) is scheduled to be released on November 8th.

On July 8th, XG suddenly posted an image on their social media accounts showing a ray of light between a sea of clouds and the sun with the caption “XG 2nd Mini Album Set for late 2024,” announcing that they will be releasing their second mini album within the year.

The announcement of the release of this mini-album, which comes about a year after the release of their previous work, was met with much joy and anticipation from fans, who were eagerly awaiting further information such as the release date.

XG’s first mini album, “NEW DNA,” was just as the title suggests, and marked the beginning of XG’s unique worldview, as they emerged as a new entity (X-GENE) in the world. The pre-release song “GRL GVNG” was the first Japanese artist to reach number one on the US Billboard chart “Hot Trending Songs Powered by Twitter,” and also topped the Billboard JAPAN general album chart “Hot Albums,” proving that XG is a global rising artist who continues to make great strides.

Their second mini album, to be released in November, expresses XG’s efforts to get closer to the world through the communication method of “music.”

The album is available in two versions: the XG ver., which is a package that includes a symbolic story that represents the world of XG, and the ALPHAZ ver., which is a special package for the XG OFFICIAL FANCLUB “ALPHAZ.” The Solo ver. features individual cover and CD designs that are filled with the individuality of each member, and the Regular ver., which symbolizes the identity of the entire group. Following on from the previous work, the well-received VINYL ver. will also be released this time.
