Snow Man’s Tatsuya Fukazawa will appear on “Downtown DX” which will air on July 25th.
This episode was titled “Celebrities’ Money Spending Updates”. The guests talked about how they spend their money, and in the first topic, “I bought that!”, Fukazawa announced that he had bought a 5 million yen vintage denim G-jacket! The other guests were astonished at the high price.
When asked by MC Downtown’s Hamada Masatoshi, “Did someone recommend it to you?” Fukasawa revealed the reason for his purchase, saying, “I often go shopping with Bananaman’s Shitara-san. One time, I went into a store saying, ‘I want a denim jacket!’ and they just happened to have this. I wanted to wear it, so I was worried it would be the wrong size, but it was perfect. I thought it was a coincidence.”
When Morita Tetsuya of Saraba Seishun no Hikari, a die-hard vintage clothing enthusiast, asked, “Do you know the value?” Fukasawa laughed and said, “I don’t really know the value.”
Also, when Naena shared a shopping episode saying, “I’m the type who can’t say no, so if a store clerk says, ‘This looks good on you,’ I’ll buy it,” Hamada asked, “You can’t say no if someone recommends it, can you?” To which Fukazawa replied, “I don’t want people to think that Snow Man doesn’t buy things.” The studio was very excited.
