Seven current high school girl idols appear! Nogizaka46's Nao Tomiri graces the cover of "BLT SUMMER CANDY 2024" unveiled

The cover image of “BLT SUMMER CANDY 2024” (Tokyo News Service), which will be released on July 29th, has been released.

“BLT SUMMER CANDY” is a magazine created with the concept of “summer, uniforms, and the youthful graffiti of beautiful girls.” It features long photo spreads and interviews of seven of the most popular high school girl idols right now.

This year’s cover features Nogizaka46’s Tomi Nao. The cover features a shot of her gazing at us with a somewhat sad expression against an impressive background of sunlight filtering through the trees. For Tomi, who spent her high school years in the group Nogizaka46, this is her last summer in high school. The cover is filled with the profound beauty of the girl Tomi Nao, which can only be seen thanks to the various experiences she has gained in the group.

This is a different contrast to the already released photo in which she shows a bright smile with the ocean in the background.

Nao Tomiri, who appears on the cover and in the opening pages, depicts her summer together with Tomiri, set in a mansion with a pool and by the sea in Kamakura. In addition to her trademark innocent smile, she also shows a slightly more mature expression for the first time, and even wears an apron to resemble a girl working at a beach house, making this a gravure shot that is packed with the charms of Nao Tomiri.

In addition, the designs of postcards given as special bonuses to each company have also been revealed. There is also a chance to win a postcard with a handwritten signature in a lottery.

Amano Kanoe was photographed on a beautiful sunny day in a nostalgic inn and in a location filled with nature. Her unadorned, cute appearance was captured on camera in a simple and beautiful way.

Anna Aoi captures her innocent, playful and cute side in nostalgic situations such as school during summer vacation, on the way home, and by a river.

Yui Kawamura was photographed at a guesthouse close to the sea, during the slow pace of a scorching hot day. As this was her first time doing magazine gravure, she was a little hesitant, but her shyness from start to finish was adorable, and the gravure shots conveyed the freshness that can only be seen now, as she begins her journey as an idol.

Wakaba Noa appeared in “BLTgraduation2024 Junior High School Graduation” in March this year. This time, we caught up with her as she enters her first summer as a high school student. The theme is “A summer day when plans to go to the beach are cancelled due to rain.” She is captured on camera, gazing regretfully at the pouring rain from inside the house, and drawing pictures of the things she wanted to do at the beach, showing all sorts of expressions of joy, anger, sadness and happiness.
