ENHYPEN's album "ROMANCE : UNTOLD" dominates Japanese charts! Initial sales reach double million copies

■ENHYPEN breaks their own record for the number of combined albums that have reached No. 1, putting them third in all time!

ENHYPEN’s latest album, “ROMANCE : UNTOLD,” is also dominating the Japanese charts.

On July 25th, Oricon’s weekly combined album rankings (dated July 29th / calculation period July 15th to 21st) were announced, and ENHYPEN’s second studio album “ROMANCE : UNTOLD” ranked first with 294,086 points per week.

This marks ENHYPEN’s eighth No. 1 album, starting with their second mini-album “BORDER : CARNIVAL” and ending with “ROMANCE : UNTOLD,” and they have now broken their own record for the number of combined No. 1 albums, putting them third in all time.

The “Combined Album Ranking” is a ranking system that converts CD sales, digital downloads, and streaming plays into points. ENHYPEN’s points this time are an increase of about 100,000 points compared to the 191,625 points they earned for their previous 5th mini-album “ORANGE BLOOD,” showing great growth.

ENHYPEN has also achieved remarkable results in Billboard JAPAN. “ROMANCE : UNTOLD” reached number one on “Top Albums Sales” and “Hot Albums.” ENHYPEN also topped the “Artist 100,” demonstrating their overwhelming presence and popularity in Japan.

“ROMANCE : UNTOLD” sold over 2.34 million copies in its first week (sales in the first week after release), instantly achieving a “double million seller” status and reaching No. 2 on the Billboard 200, the main album chart of the US Billboard. As the name suggests, the album is achieving a “career high.”

On August 10th, ENHYPEN will make their first appearance as a K-POP artist at Japan’s largest music festival, ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2024, and will hold the Japanese leg of their world tour, ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR ‘FATE PLUS’ IN JAPAN, in Aichi and Miyagi from August 24th to September 1st.
