NiziU’s first EP “RISE UP” tops Oricon’s daily album rankings for two consecutive days

■The release day of “RISE UP” will be a day filled with NiziU, including appearances on information programs and a live performance on “SCHOOL OF LOCK!”

NiziU’s first EP “RISE UP” (released on July 24th) topped the Oricon Daily Album Ranking for two days on July 23rd and July 24th. It’s off to a good start.

The visuals and sounds of “RISE UP” have been making waves as a work that is different from their previous works. The work, which includes the opening theme “RISE UP” and the ending theme “BELIEVE” of the TV anime “Tower of God – The Return of the Prince”, has been attracting attention in Japan, Korea and other overseas countries. Since the beginning of July, they have performed the title song “RISE UP” on many music programs, showing off a new side of themselves that is completely different from their previous works.

The release date, July 24th, was a day filled with NiziU. Members MAYA, RIKU, AYAKA, MAYUKA, and RIMA appeared on Nippon Television’s “Hirunandesu!”, showcasing a side of them that viewers don’t usually get to see on stage. Afterwards, all nine members held a YouTube Live broadcast to commemorate the release of their new album “RISE UP,” and while conveying the appeal of the song, they entertained viewers with projects related to “RISE UP” and “Tower of God.”

Furthermore, MAYA, RIKU, and AYAKA made their first live radio appearance on TOKYO FM’s “SCHOOL OF LOCK!”, where they were nervous but managed to deliver a stable talk. They also communicated with listeners over the phone, delighting fans with a new attempt that had never been seen before.

On July 25th, RIO, MAYUKA, and MIIHI appeared live on TOKYO FM’s “Blue Ocean.” On the 26th, MAKO, RIO, MIIHI, and NINA appeared on Fuji TV’s “Poka Poka,” continuing their wide-ranging activities.

In addition, at the collaboration event held at the Yokohama Marine Tower and Kobe Port Tower, symbols of the two major port cities, both towers were lit up in the members’ colors, vividly celebrating the release of “RISE UP” and becoming a hot topic. The collaboration event at Yokohama Marine Tower and Kobe Port Tower will continue until July 30th (Kobe’s light-up is only available on July 24th, the release date).

On July 27th and 28th, the group will hold their first fan meeting in Osaka.
