The popular SPICE serial “Popcorn, Extra Butter PART 2,” in which Yohei Kawakami of (Alexandros) talks about recommended movies, has been made into a book. It will be released by Takarajimasha on September 3rd.
This book introduces over 150 of Kawakami’s favorite movies, selected along various themes in each genre, including romance, horror, action, and comedy. Kawakami, who is known as a big movie fan, also talks about the points he considers when choosing a movie, his favorite actors and directors, etc.
In addition, the book also includes a new episode about the movie he recommends. The cover art is a work by artist Yu Nagaba of Yohei Kawakami.
(Alexandros)’s official fan club, “(Alexandros) CREW ＆ Mobile,” will be selling the product with an original acrylic key chain and an original postcard, and special benefits will also be available at different retailers.
In addition, a movie-related event will be held in Tokyo to commemorate the release of the book. Details will be announced as soon as they are decided.
