NEWS will be performing for the first time on “with MUSIC”. They will be performing their latest song “JAPANEWS” and “weeeek”, a cheering song written by GRe4N BOYZ that continues to be loved by a wide range of generations.
The first song to be performed is “weeeek”, a surefire hit song that gets the crowd excited at summer festivals. In honor of this summer’s classic, Keiichiro Koyama and Shigeaki Kato will share their favorite summer songs and stories.
Takahisa Masuda then shares some tips on how to have fun with “weeeek” together. MC Yumiko Udo also immediately puts them into practice.
The second song is their latest song, “JAPANEWS.” The highlights of this latest song, themed around Japan, will also be introduced. Also pay attention to the rap exchanges between the members.
NiziU performed two songs, “CLAP CLAP” and their latest song “RISE UP”. In a talk between Udo and artist navigator Matsushita Kohei, the members revealed who they think has changed the most in the four years since the audition project “Nizi Project”. In addition, MAKO performed something in the studio that makes use of a certain special skill. Udo was moved when she saw it and said, “I’m so happy!”
The first song performed was “CLAP CLAP”, a dance number that involved clapping hands and dancing nonstop for 2 minutes and 45 seconds. Enjoy the song while paying attention to the many clapping choreography that appears throughout the song.
The second song was “RISE UP”, released on July 24th. Pay attention to the cool expression as he sings in a cool dark outfit.
Additionally, Mrs. GREEN APPLE, performing for the first time on “with MUSIC,” performed the summer classic “Blue and Summer” and “Lilac,” the song that has surpassed 100 million streams in total, the fastest song of their career.
HY will perform their signature song “AM11:00,” while ORANGE RANGE will perform a special medley of summer classics “Locomotion,” “Kaiho Carnival,” and “Naughty Sun” from the beautiful beaches of their hometown, Okinawa Prefecture.
AKB48 will also be performing “Ponytail to Shushu,” a classic summer song that remains loved by people of all ages even 14 years after its release.
