On July 27, BABYMONSTER released new original content titled “(BAEMON NEWS7) BABYMONSTER FANDOM NAME RELEASE,” utilizing the format of a news program.
The members appeared as different characters, such as an anchor, a reporter, a K-pop expert, and a weather forecaster. They showed off their goofy acting and exuded the charm of AAA, entertaining the viewers.
In the video, the official fandom name was also announced, followed by the first public reveal of the official light stick.
The official fandom name is “MONSTIEZ”. “MONSTIEZ” is a combination of MON’S, an abbreviation of the team name, and TIES (a relationship of connection), and it conveys the idea that the members and fans are the closest to each other and rely on each other to become a trustworthy relationship.
