osage to make major debut under Sony Music Labels

■A collaboration with the popular girls’ manga “I Want to Have a Love that Forgets You,” currently serialized in “Bessatsu Margaret,” has also been decided!

The four-member rock band osage will make their major debut under Sony Music Labels. The announcement was made at the final show of their “ENSEMBLE TOUR 2024” tour on July 27th.

Their major debut double A-side single “My Diary / Transparent Summer” will be released digitally on August 7th. They have also announced that they will be holding a solo tour “Brand New AGE 2024” in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka from October.

The title track, “My Diary,” arranged by Miyata “Lefty” Ryo, is a collaboration with the popular shojo manga “I Want to Fall in Love, Forget You,” currently serialized in “Bessatsu Margaret” (Shueisha).

The September issue of Bessatsu Margaret, on sale from August 9th, will feature a special edition of “I Want to Fall in Love, To Forget You,” which was written based on the image of the song, as well as an interview between the author of the work, Yuuki Yu, and osage.

In addition, it has been decided that “My Diary” will be aired in full on the radio for the first time on FM802’s “RADIO∞INFINITY” which will be broadcast from 24:00 on August 1st. A new artist photo and the distribution jacket photo for “My Diary / Transparent Summer” have also been released.

The Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka solo tour “Brand New AGE 2024” will be held at ell.SIZE in Aichi on October 19, JANUS in Osaka on October 20, and WWW X in Shibuya, Tokyo on November 3. The official earliest advance ticket sales also started from 8:00 pm on July 27.

Osage is a four-member rock band consisting of Yamaguchi Kenta (Vo, Gu), Kanehiro Kouki (Gu), Hirokusama (Ba), and Tanaka Yuki (Dr). Formed in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, the band began to actively perform in the spring of 2017. They won the grand prize at the 2018 newcomer audition “murffin discs audition.”

The appeal of the band lies in the high-pitched voice of vocalist Yamaguchi Kenta, who sings with the utmost emotion and his solid, unified performance skills, which allow him to emotionally express everything from love songs to loud rock.

On June 19th, the ending theme song “Nanakago” for MBS Dramaism’s “Crashing High School Girl and the Wasted Teacher Lesson 2” was released digitally.
