Nogizaka46 shot the music video for their new song “Cheat Day” in Singapore. Immediately afterwards, they live-streamed the video on Instagram from the location.
At the beginning of the broadcast, Umezawa Minami and Yumiki Nao revealed the location where the music video was shot, saying, “We shot the music video for ‘Cheat Day’ in Singapore. It’s been a while since we’ve shot a music video overseas, and the costumes have a resort feel to them. They’re cuter in a different way than usual.”
In addition, Kazu Inoue, who is the center of “Cheat Day,” commented on the MV, “I had fun filming in Singapore, the environment was good, and I was able to film with good expressions.” It seems like it was a fulfilling shoot.
For Nogizaka46, this will be their first overseas music video shoot in about six years since their 21st single, “Jikochuu de Ikou!” The music video is expected to be released in August.
