ONE N' ONLY surprises with the release of their third EP "Fiesta" on "Mezamashi Live"

■ “I’ve been saving it for this day!” “You finally got to say it!”

ONE N’ ONLY, a six-member dance and vocal group that has gained popularity overseas, especially in South America, and successfully completed a Latin solo tour of three South American cities in 2023, has announced that they will release their third EP, “Fiesta,” packed with six new songs, on October 2nd.

The release of this third EP “Fiesta” was announced as a surprise to the SWAG (ONE N’ ONLY fan name) who had gathered at the “Odaiba Adventure King 2024 ~ Ai♡LAND for Popular People ~ Mezamashi Live” held in Odaiba, Tokyo on July 28th.

At “Mezamashi Live,” ONE N’ ONLY performed a total of eight songs, including the intense and passionate Latin-style song “DOMINO,” in order to meet the expectations of the packed house of SWAG fans who had gathered at the venue to spend a hot summer with them.

During the MC, HAYATO announced the decision to release an EP, saying, “Since this is an alarm clock live, I have some news that will wake you up! We, ONE N’ ONLY, will be releasing an EP in October!!” The audience erupted in cheers when he announced this, and the other members seemed even more motivated seeing SWAG’s happy reactions, saying, “We’ve been saving it for this day!” and “We can finally say it.”

Furthermore, HAYATO from ONE N’ ONLY, who spent time with SWAG for the first time in a while, said, “Our summer started with this Mezamashi Live, and we have the FC tour and autumn tour waiting for us. With the release of this EP and the release event, we hope to show you that ONE N’ ONLY is unstoppable this year, so please support us!” It seemed that the fans were already unable to wait for the release.

Towards the end of the concert, during “EVOL,” each member went to the audience with a water pistol in hand. They shot the water pistols at the enthusiastic audience, delivering a full summery performance.

The title track of the EP, “Fiesta,” is a Spanish word meaning a celebration or party. It is a song that will get you excited like a festival, and is also the title of the fall tour starting in September. It features a dynamic rhythm that incorporates samba and carnival, and is sure to become a symbolic song for ONE N’ ONLY, following their current live staple “EVOL.” It is a song that represents ONE N’ ONLY’s current state, where they have evolved into a unique musical style, “Jatin Pop,” which combines “JK-POP” and “Latin Music.”

Other songs included on the EP include “Fight or Die,” which was performed as the opening song at “ONE N’ SWAG ~All out~” held at the National Hall of Pacifico Yokohama on April 27th and is also an insert song for member TETTA’s first starring movie, “100-Second Fist King – Kenka Battle Royale,” and “ALL OUT” by the three rap members (HAYATO, KENSHIN, NAOYA), which was also debuted at the same concert. As the title “Fiesta” suggests, the EP incorporates songs from a variety of genres, making it a “festival EP” that symbolizes ONE N’ SWAG’s current live performances.

The first limited edition includes a Blu-ray containing footage of the “ONE N’ SWAG ~All out~” concert held at the Pacifico Yokohama National Hall on April 27th, as well as a 60-page deluxe booklet including live photos. Definitely a must-see for fans.

In addition, to commemorate the release, it was announced that release events will be held in five locations in Hyogo Prefecture, Osaka Prefecture, Aichi Prefecture, Saitama Prefecture, and Kanagawa Prefecture. Details will be announced at a later date, but be sure to check them out.
