Celine Dion overcomes illness and makes a miraculous comeback! Stunning performance at the Paris Opening Ceremony

Celine Dion appeared at the opening ceremony held in Paris, France on July 26th local time.

Celine Dion is a global singer and one of the most successful artists of all time, with a career spanning more than 35 years, total album sales of 250 million copies worldwide, five Grammy Awards, and two Academy Awards.

In December 2022, she revealed that she had been diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, a progressive autoimmune neurological disease, and subsequently canceled her tour, causing widespread concern about her condition and becoming a hot topic.

She overcame her serious illness and appeared at the end of the opening ceremony in Paris, France. She sang the famous chanson song “Hymne a l’amour” on the special stage at the Eiffel Tower, and the whole world was moved by her miraculous recovery and powerful singing voice.

After the performance, she commented on social media, “I am truly grateful to have had the opportunity to sing tonight. And I’m happiest to have been able to pay tribute to these incredible athletes, whose stories include sacrifice, determination, pain and perseverance. I’m so proud of you all.” Her post has drawn tributes from all over the world, including labelmate Cyndi Lauper, who commented, “You are my source of inspiration.”

The soundtrack to the documentary, her latest best album “I Am Celine Dion”, includes 20 songs in total, including her signature songs “My Heart Will Go On”, the theme song of the movie “Titanic”, “I’m Alive”, “The Power of Love”, as well as French songs “Zola das Ejacula” and “Love Again”, including 13 hit songs and 7 scores, and is currently available for digital distribution. The domestic version CD will be released on August 14th in high quality Blu-spec CD2 format.
