Taiga Kyomoto (SixTONES) plays the lead role in the Kantere/Fuji TV Tuesday 11 o’clock drama drama ★Eleven’s “Omekko Shibuya-kun”.

In episode 5, Aika’s proposal is rejected, but in response to Shibuya-kun’s single-minded desire to give up, Aika also develops a feeling of jealousy, as she doesn’t want Shibuya-kun to be taken over by someone other than herself. At the beginning, the flag of both feelings finally appears! However, Aika’s ex-boyfriend Osaki (Kaito Miyachika), who has learned about Shibuya-kun’s feelings, also quietly begins to move, and the situation seems to be turning into a love triangle!?

In the 6th episode, which aired on May 7th, Shibuya-kun becomes depressed once again, thinking that he can’t compete with the distance between Aika and Osaki, who seem to be close to each other since they are ex-lovers. Then, Kyoko (Kyoko Hasegawa), who is interested in Osaki, suggests that they all have a hotpot party. In an unexpected situation, Shibuya-kun, Osaki, Kyoko, and Kanda (Shuichiro Naito) gather at Aika’s house!

Regarding this situation, Taiga Kyomoto said, “In episode 4, there was a scene where Shibuya-kun, Aika-sensei, Kyoko-san, and Kanda-san happened to meet at an amusement park and eat pizza together, but in episode 6, Sensei Osaki joins in, and the situation becomes even more chaotic (lol). It’s quite unusual for these five people to be together at Aika-sensei’s house, so I think that’s the highlight.” The cast seemed to enjoy the scene together.

He added, “Although it’s based on a manga, none of the actors play their roles excessively, and everyone is good at creating a natural and comedic tone. Therefore, there are no fights between the characters, and the five characters are I hope that the viewers will enjoy the exquisite taste of the characters, each with their own individuality.”He says that he finds it fun and rewarding to work with his co-stars. It showed.

Regarding the feedback and reactions to “Welcome to Shibuya-kun,” he said, “Not only on social media, but also from the staff, makeup artists, and members who are close to me, like Jesse watching it, and my friends watching it as well. Also, Meguro (Ren) from Snow Man and Yamada (Ryosuke) from Hey! Say! JUMP said they saw it. They said it was interesting considering the works I’ve appeared in so far. However, the gag-type taste is fresh, so the response has been better than I expected, which makes it very rewarding.”

■Kyomoto Taiga highly praises Mei Morobayashi (6 years old) who plays the role of his younger sister! “I never make any mistakes during the actual performance, and my concentration is amazing.”
As the story enters its second half, the love between Shibuya-kun and Aika becomes more and more interesting, but the topic is also about the age of Shibuya-kun, a beloved character who can be called the “angel” of this work. Mei Morobayashi plays Nemu, his estranged sister. The sight of her running up to Shibuya-kun with a cute smile and saying, “Ninini!”, not only viewers, but also her co-stars and the filming staff on set, were in awe.

Morobayashi also appeared at the production announcement held before the first broadcast of the drama. He said, “I wasn’t nervous at all,” giving off the impression that he is a big-time player. When reading the script, he says, “I leave the lines for later and memorize the scenes first.”With the help of his family, “My mom plays Shibuya-kun, and my sister plays the mother and Aika-sensei.” It looks like he is practicing his lines. As for his father, he honestly answered, “He’s not doing anything. He’s playing games on TV (lol),” which drew laughter.

Regarding Kyomoto, who plays the role of the older brother, he said, “He’s so cool with his big smile!”, and Tanabe, who plays the role of the homeroom teacher, said, “He’s cute!” They seem to love the two, who have many scenes together. Upon hearing his younger sister’s dignified comment, “I want you to watch all of the performances because they’re so fun!”, Kyomoto replied, “I think even a little 6-year-old girl is a professional after all. She never makes any mistakes during the actual performance.” His concentration is amazing. He responds to the assistant director’s instructions in a very soft manner (lol), so I sometimes wonder if he understands them, but when the actual performance came around, I was surprised at how well he was able to do them. However, in between filming, I play rock, paper, scissors with the other kindergarteners, and when I ask them, “What do you enjoy about coming to the set?”, they answer, “Photography.” If that’s the case, I’ll definitely say “Rock, paper, scissors!” (laughs) It’s a learning experience!” he said, completely impressed by the little actor.
