ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION releases live music video for "Haruka Kanata (2024 ver.)" using footage from their solo concert in South America

ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION has released a Live Edition music video for “Haruka Kanata (2024 ver.),” which is included in the album “Single Collection” to be released on July 31st.

Released in 2003, “Haruka Kanata” is the opening theme for the TV anime “NARUTO” and is popular not only in Japan but also overseas. The music video released this time was made from footage of a solo live performance held in South America in May, and the highlight is the excitement that can only be felt at an overseas live performance.

ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION celebrated the 20th anniversary of their major debut in 2023. To commemorate the 20th anniversary, they will release “Single Collection” on July 31st, which includes all of their singles to date. In addition to songs from their first single “Mirai no Hakka” released in 2003 to their 30th single “Shukuen” to be released in 2023, the album also includes a re-recording of the band’s signature song “Haruka Kanata.” It is a single collection of 33 songs in total.

The first production limited edition will be in a luxurious special package, and will come with all the single jacket cards (31 pieces). In addition, it will come with a booklet that features a conversation between the members and Yusuke Nakamura, who has done the jacket illustrations for ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, on the theme of all the singles. In addition, ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION will hold an Anniversary Special Live “Fan Appreciation Festival 2024” at BUNTAI in Yokohama on August 24th and 25th to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their major debut and the 25th anniversary of drummer Ijichi Kiyoshi’s official joining, as well as a nationwide live house tour of 28 shows, Tour 2024 “Fan Appreciation Circuit”. The “Fan Appreciation Circuit” will start at FAD YOKOHAMA on September 30th and will be held in 23 cities nationwide, from Hokkaido in the north to Kagoshima in the south, including some venues that will be visited for the first time in a while.
