THE RAMPAGE's latest single "24karats GOLD GENESIS" reaches No. 1 on the Oricon & Billboard JAPAN rankings

■”24karats GOLD GENESIS” is the official successor to the “24karats series” from EXILE!

THE RAMPAGE’s latest single “24karats GOLD GENESIS”, released on July 24th, debuted at No. 1 on the Oricon Weekly Single Ranking for August 5th, announced on July 30th, with first week sales of 220,000 copies. This is their second single to reach No. 1 since “Summer Riot ~Tropical Night~/Everest” on August 14th, 2023, which was their first single to reach No. 1.

In addition, the song also topped the Billboard JAPAN weekly single sales chart “Top Singles Sales” released on July 31 (calculation period: July 22 to July 28, 2024), selling 326,342 copies in the first week. Together with Oricon, it achieved a double crown.

“24karats GOLD GENESIS” is a work that officially inherits from EXILE the “24karats series,” in which EXILE has expressed entertainment through music and fashion, based on dance culture and the brand concept of “STREET SPORTS.”

This is the first time that a group other than EXILE has released a “24karats series” album. It expresses the evolution of 24karats with traditional phrases inherited from previous 24karats series albums, the powerful hip-hop sound that is characteristic of THE RAMPAGE, and lyrics with the theme of “inheritance” that express a strong will to shine forever like gold.

In addition, as a token of their gratitude to RAVERS (a collective term for THE RAMPAGE’s fans) who helped them achieve the double crown, THE RAMPAGE released a live video of “24karats GOLD GENESIS,” which was first performed at the Miyagi performance of “THE RAMPAGE LIVE TOUR 2024 “CyberHelix” RX-16,” which has received a huge response.
