Aiba Masaki takes part in the filming of “Hirunandesu!” for the first time! Travels to Okinawa with his friend of 20 years, Yokoyama Yuu of SUPER EIGHT

Aiba Masaki (Arashi) participated in the location shoot of Nippon Television’s “Hirunandesu!” for the first time! He enjoyed a trip to Okinawa with his friend of 20 years, Yokoyama Yu of SUPER EIGHT.

On the August 1st broadcast of “Hirunandesu!”, Yokoyama Yu (SUPER EIGHT) drives a rental car across Okinawa in the summer. He visits popular spots that he has researched based on word of mouth from locals and tourists. Aiba appears as a guest on this segment. The two are known to be very close friends even in private.

Seeing Yokoyama at MAX excitement from the opening, Aiba said with a sense of innocence, “So this is how you work, I’m so happy.” Yokoyama then seemed embarrassed and said, “Stop it!”, showing just how close the two are.

The two of them immediately got into a rental car and headed to the first spot. Since they were alone in the car, they talked about when they first met before their debut, when they hung out privately, and even about private matters within their groups, which are rare conversations to hear anywhere else.

Along the way, they also introduce some of Okinawa’s most scenic driving spots and gourmet spots. The first thing they introduce is “exquisite fluffy pancakes.” Even Yokoyama, who doesn’t eat pancakes that often, thoroughly enjoys their deliciousness. Aiba takes a photo of Yokoyama eating deliciously. At the end, for some reason, he conveys his thoughts in an “aiueo composition.”

Then, at a cafe with a spectacular view of the beach in front of them, they eat a luxurious shaved ice made with a whole pineapple and Okinawa’s soul food, pork and egg rice balls. After enjoying the typical Okinawan gourmet food, the two of them, taking advantage of the spectacular view, start a photo battle with each other as the subject. Who can take the best photo?

The two not only enjoyed the local cuisine, but also experienced Okinawa’s activities. On the spectacular zip line that glides over the ocean, said to be the first of its kind in Japan, Aiba seemed a little timid while Yokoyama was in high spirits from start to finish. Was Aiba able to glide along with a smile?

Speaking of Okinawa, enjoying the sea is what everyone wants, so Aiba also tried parasailing. When Aiba, who was trying parasailing for the first time, heard that the jump height was 50 meters above the sea, he muttered, “I wish I hadn’t heard that.” He took to the sky together with Yokoyama, who was also in high spirits. “I would never have done this if I hadn’t come with Yokoyama,” he said, impressed by the precious experience that was only possible with the two of them.

Then, we went to one of the largest resort hotels in Okinawa, offering the best value for money. This hotel allows you to fully enjoy Okinawa, with a room with a terrace overlooking the ocean and a breakfast buffet. Here, we were surprised by the extremely low accommodation fee, which far exceeded our expectations. We also got to see the hotel’s most luxurious suite room.

Aiba and Yokoyama are on a very special trip together. They are longtime friends and are very comfortable with each other, so it’s worth watching their interactions.
