MAZZEL will appear on TV Asahi’s “M:ZINE” as the featured artist for August.
Mrs. GREEN APPLE guitarist Wakai Koto, TV Asahi announcer Hayashi Mio, and Aiseki Start’s Yamazoe Hiroshi, who will be participating for the first time, will delve deeper into the appeal of MAZZEL, which exudes high-quality performances and a unique worldview that only they possess.
MAZZEL is a group of talented raw materials with various backgrounds. In August’s “M:ZINE”, we will dig deeper into the charms of these eight highly individualistic and hyper-multifaceted members and explore their new possibilities.
In the first episode, which aired on August 2nd, Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s Wakai directly asked MAZZEL what she wanted to ask them. Titled “5 Questions Mrs. GREEN APPLE Wakai Wants to Ask MAZZEL”, MAZZEL members were asked questions that Wakai personally wanted to ask, such as “Have you cried this year?”, “Have you got any stories to share about the members?”, and “When you go to karaoke, you liven things up more than you sing”, and they were asked to answer by raising their hands within 5 seconds.
When RAN told an episode from a live performance during the segment “Something that has made me cry this year,” Wakai made a shocking confession, saying, “I also sometimes get so moved by my own MCing at live performances that I cry,” causing both MAZZEL and Yamazoe to burst out in laughter.
In addition, SKY-HI, the agency’s representative, will talk about MAZZEL’s charms and unknown true nature, which only he, the agency’s president, can reveal.
Furthermore, KAIRYU, who captivates fans with his outstanding singing ability, performed the much talked about cover video of “First Love,” while NAOYA and HAYATO performed a TWICE dance. RAN, SEITO, RYUKI, and TAKUTO also performed a freestyle dance to SKY-HI’s “DUNK,” impressing Wakai and the others.
In next week’s episode of “M:ZINE,” MAZZEL will be undergoing a “potential check,” which will include a test of their acting ability based on whether or not they have drunk a sour drink, and whether they can quickly remember the dance moves to Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s “Dancehall.”
Furthermore, there are plenty of sections where you can get to know MAZZEL even more, such as a dance collaboration with Wakai in “Dance Hall” and behind-the-scenes stories from the music video for MAZZEL’s latest song, “Seaside Story.”
Additionally, CS TV Asahi Channel 1 will broadcast the complete 90-minute version titled “M: ZINE Complete Edition – The Charm of New Generation Dance & Vocal Group MAZZEL at Full Display SP” from 12:00 on August 24th, which will include studio talk that could not be accommodated on terrestrial broadcasting, as well as a special interview after recording that can only be seen on CS broadcasting.

Although it was a short time, I think we were able to show the individuality and color of the eight of us. We were able to record with the same excitement as in the dressing room, and it was a lot of fun.
