On August 18th, Nippon Television will broadcast “Yamazaki Kento x JEONGHAN Miracle Trip in Korea” (the official spelling of Yamazaki’s “崎” is “tatsusaki”).
His latest film, “Kingdom: The Return of the Great General,” achieved the highest opening record of any live-action Japanese film of all time, and Yamazaki Kento has become an indispensable presence in Japanese action blockbusters such as “Golden Kamuy” and “Onmyoji 0.”
And in SEVENTEEN, a miraculous group formed by fate of 13 members full of individuality, there is JEONGHAN, who captivates people with his intellectual beauty and is nicknamed “the angel of SEVENTEEN.”
These two young stars began their friendship after a fateful encounter at a show for a famous brand, and now they have developed into a relationship of mutual respect, with Yamazaki going to see SEVENTEEN’s live shows and JEONGHAN watching films starring Yamazaki.
“Yamazaki Kento x JEONGHAN Miracle Trip in Korea” is a travelogue in which the two world-famous actors miraculously meet again in Korea and talk honestly. The online video distribution service “Hulu” will distribute (5 episodes in total) after the terrestrial broadcast on August 18th.
In June, reports of Yamazaki and JEONGHAN being seen filming spread on social media, especially among fans, with comments of joy at the two working together such as, “What, JEONGHAN and Yamazaki Kento in Korea?!” and “I’m so excited about the fact that JEONGHAN and Yamazaki Kento are filming in Korea! I hope they get closer and closer!”. Fans were also seen commenting excitedly about what kind of work it would be, saying, “Aren’t you just curious about the content of Yamazaki Kento and JEONGHAN filming in Korea?” and “Yamazaki Kento and JEONGHAN are filming!?!? Isn’t that amazing!!!!? Is it okay to have such happy content???”
“Yamazaki Kento x JEONGHAN’s Miracle Trip to Korea,” a rare travelogue in which two young, globally popular stars share their honest thoughts, will be broadcast from 3:30 p.m. on August 18th.
