■The 15-second commercial for “JAPANEWS” is currently being broadcast nationwide!
It has been announced that NEWS will be conducting a nationwide commercial and radio campaign “From North to South” to commemorate the release of their 14th album “JAPANEWS” (on sale August 7th).
Celebrating their 21st year since debut, NEWS’ new album “JAPANEWS” is a work like a “Japanese guidebook” with a theme of “Japan.” NEWS, who debuted in November 2003 with the single “NEWS Nippon,” has reached a new phase with this album.
The 15-second commercial for “JAPANEWS” has been airing nationwide since August 1. The commercial features the music video for the album’s lead song “JAPANEWS,” along with a memorable phrase from Japanese voice actress Masako Nozawa, who narrates the “Japan Journey” in the album.
In addition, a nationwide radio campaign commemorating the album release will be held from August 5th. Comments from the members will be broadcast on radio stations in all 47 prefectures of Japan, and some radio stations will feature guest appearances from the members talking about the appeal of the album.
