My Hair is Bad releases music video for “Jidai” filmed in the band’s hometown of Joetsu

My Hair is Bad has released the music video for “Jidai” from their new album “ghosts.”

“Jidai” is a song that can be said to be the core of the album, in which guitarist and vocalist Tomohito Shiiki candidly expresses his current feelings. The music video was shot in Joetsu, the band’s hometown.

The new album “ghosts” contains a total of 13 songs, including “Memories Run Through,” the theme song for the movie “Crayon Shin-chan: Our Dinosaur Diary,” “Tragic Heroine” and “Freedom and Hysteria,” which were released as digital singles in 2024, and “Taiyo,” the official theme song for the 96th Senbatsu MBS.

The first limited edition will also include a reproduction of the video of the final live concert of the tour held at Joetsu EARTH in Niigata on March 7, 2015, which was released during the band’s indie days but is now out of print.

The book also includes a serial code for a ticket lottery for the “Fire Home Run Tour,” which will be held in September and will have 28 performances in 26 locations. For more information about the tour, please visit the My Hair is Bad official website.

In commemoration of the album release, the first pop-up store will be held at UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE HARAJUKU on Takeshita Street in Harajuku, Tokyo for 17 days from August 9th to 25th. The pop-up store will have a large lineup of new products, including collaboration goods with Crayon Shin-chan.
