At 7:07 pm on August 4th, Da-iCE premiered the Music Video for their new song “Story” – Behind The Scenes on YouTube.
This song is the opening theme for the TV anime “FAIRY TAIL 100 Year Quest” and was written by member Hayato Wada. It is a fast-paced rock number with the theme of “true bonds.”
Since its serialization began in 2006, “FAIRY TAIL” has captivated people all over the world in various forms, including not only the original manga but also TV anime, animated movies, stage plays, games, and merchandise. It is a classic battle fantasy that continues to be loved all over the world. Since the final episode of the anime aired in 2019, “FAIRY TAIL 100 Year Quest”, the legitimate sequel to “FAIRY TAIL”, will be made into a TV anime for the first time in five years.
The music video, which was released at 7:07 pm on July 21st, is structured like a rock musician’s music video, with band members participating, and the dance parts were filmed using a drone, making for a more dynamic and moving video.
Behind The Scenes features footage from behind the scenes of the music video, including various scenarios, filming of dance scenes, and behind-the-scenes shots, making it a must-see for fans.
In addition, the official dance practice for “Story” will be released at 7:07 pm on July 28th.
The choreography for this work was produced by member Hayato Wada in collaboration with shoji (s**t kingz). It is a video that allows you to fully enjoy Da-iCE’s dance performance from a different angle than the “MV”.
The YouTube premiere time for each video is set to 7:07 PM, which is in keeping with the worldview of “FAIRY TAIL,” for which Da-iCE has a tie-up song. The number 7 is set as a keyword, based on anime elements such as the Seven Flame Dragons from “FAIRY TAIL,” the date July 7, X777, and the name of the main character Natsu being expressed as a number (with two 7s).
On social media, there were many speculations and surprised voices among Da-iCE fans and fans of the original work who are familiar with “FAIRY TAIL”, with comments such as, “Since it’s the theme song for ‘FAIRY TAIL’, maybe it has something to do with the main character Natsu,” and “Is it because it’s the Seven Flame Dragons from ‘FAIRY TAIL’?”, which became a hot topic, even among fans of the original work and Da-iCE fans who are familiar with “FAIRY TAIL”, who are familiar with the series.
Da-iCE is set to release their new album “MUSi-aM” (pronounced: Museum) on October 2nd, and are currently on tour to commemorate the 10th anniversary of their major debut.
We will be keeping a close eye on their continued success as they continue to go strong.
