Katori Shingo goes on a shopping spree for influencer goods in Harajuku?! Drinks tapioca with buzz kids, "Baby Tapi!"

“Nanani Underground Abema” is a regular Abema program featuring Inagaki Goro, Kusanagi Tsuyoshi (the official spelling of “nagi” is the old-style character for “bow” with the character for “front” and “sword”), and Katori Shingo.

Episode 36, which aired on August 4th at 8pm, was the third installment of “What’s Trending Now! A Huge Gathering of Kids Going Viral on Social Media!”, which received the most response on “Nanani Chika Abema”.

Guests included the Unimia sisters, who are self-proclaimed big fans of actress Hirose Suzu, the three Shoyan brothers whose videos have been viewed over 1 billion times in total, and Retsu-kun and Miran-chan, who appeared in #24. Together with these guests, the Nanani members left the studio to take photos at Studio Alice and go on location to make the dreams of the buzz kids come true.

Meanwhile, in order to make the Unimia sisters’ dream of “meeting Shinako” come true, the pair of Katori and Kanechika visit a tapioca shop in Harajuku, Tokyo, where Shinako, a popular influencer among children with over 3 million followers on social media, works as the manager.

Once inside the store, Katori looks confused at the influencer goods and store items lined up all over the walls and says, “What kind of store is this? What is this place?” and “This is what Harajuku has become!”

Yuni-chan and Mia-chan got their hands full of influencer goods after Kanechika said, “Shingo-san will pay for everything!” Katori also looked back on his first-ever experience with excitement, saying, “I never thought I’d end up buying a photo of a TikToker in my life…”

Finally, the group heads to the tapioca section to meet Shinako, the Unimia sisters’ idol. The sisters are excited to meet their idol, Shinako.

When the tapioca they ordered arrived, they seemed even more excited, and together with Katori and Kanechika, they yelled “Baby Tapi” as they put the straw through the tapioca.

While Yuni and Mia were excited and saying “It’s delicious!”, when asked for his thoughts on the tapioca, Katori’s eyes lit up as he said “It’s sweet!”, “I’m so happy, this might be the first time I’ve had tapioca in Harajuku!” and “I’d like to have this after drinking alcohol.”

Looking back on the location shoot, Katori said, “The Harajuku I know wasn’t here. But it was fun to take a step forward!” He seemed very satisfied that the Unimia sisters’ dream had come true and that they had been able to enjoy Harajuku’s newest spot.

In addition, Inagaki appears as a clerk at a strawberry candy shop with Retsukun and Miran, who appeared in #24, and #36 of “Nanani Underground ABEMA,” in which Kusanagi has a serious battle with the three Shoyan brothers, is currently being streamed on “ABEMA.”

In episode 37, which will air next week on August 11th, six of the most popular teen groups will gather in the studio.

A 16-year-old artist who is currently attracting attention and who surprised Katori, and a teen who calls himself a national idol will ask Inagaki, Kusanagi and Katori for some serious life advice?
