It has been decided that Aiba Masaki and veteran voice actor Otsuka Akio will participate as voice actors in the movie “PUI PUI Molcar The Movie MOLMAX” (released on November 29th). This will be Aiba’s first time as a voice actor in an anime movie.
The film “PUI PUI Molcar The Movie MOLMAX” is a completely new movie in which the popular stop-motion animation “PUI PUI Molcar” comes to the big screen as CG animation.
“PUI PUI Molcar” has become popular since it began airing in 2021 due to the unusual feature of actual guinea pigs providing the voice acting for the Molcars, but in this production, Aiba and Otsuka will be playing the human characters living in the Molcar world.
Although human characters have appeared in previous series, they have never had any dialogue or lines, so expectations are high for their interactions with Molcar.
The film depicts the high-tech era of Mol City, where the Molcars live. Details of the two characters who will play important roles in the new setting where AI Molcars finally appear will be announced at a later date.
