The music video for YOASOBI’s new song “Stage Standing,” written for the “NHK Sports Theme 2024,” will premiere at 8 p.m. on August 6th.
The music video was produced entirely in animation, with PERIMETRON’s Margt as the video director. Based on the theme of the song, “sports,” the video depicts the characters running forward with determination, as well as the difficulties and setbacks they face along the way, and is a work that combines various sports animations. Multiple animators participated in the video, and each scene was drawn with their own colors and touches, resulting in a colorful and immersive video.
“Stage First” is an uplifting guitar rock tune written with the image of the conflicts and excitement that athletes face. It is a song that will give a push to anyone, not just athletes, in situations where they need to take a courageous step forward.
