BLUE ENCOUNT will release their new single “gifted” on CD on September 11th, the day after the anniversary of their major debut.
The B-side includes “overtime,” which has already been performed live as the kickoff song for the 20th anniversary of the band’s formation. The bonus footage includes the music video for “gifted” and the making of it.
Additionally, the card will include an advance serial number that can be used to apply for tickets to the final performance of the live tour “BLUE ENCOUNT 20th anniversary tour2024-2025 “to BE continued,” which will be held at Tokyo Garden Theater on February 8th.
The title song “gifted” was written as the theme song for the Netflix series “Rising Impact,” whose second season began streaming on August 6. Following on from season 1, it will continue to color the story as the theme song for season 2. The packaging for this work also comes with a wide cap sticker with an original illustration for the anime.
And the coupling song “Overtime” is sung as “an extension (=overtime) to repay the past that we cried so much about,” and while it is BLUE ENCOUNT’s shortest song, it is the strongest song. It is a Blue Encount-style cheer song that will give you a strong push forward even when you are troubled.
