A special project will be launched on Spotify to celebrate the release of Kenshi Yonezu’s “LOST CORNER”! A commercial featuring his new song “RED OUT” will also be aired

To commemorate the release of Kenshi Yonezu’s sixth album “LOST CORNER” (on sale August 21st), Spotify will be running a special project that allows listeners to enjoy the world of the album on a deeper level.

Ahead of the album release, the Spotify brand commercial “Sono Ichikushi ni,” featuring Kenshi Yonezu’s new song “RED OUT,” will begin airing nationwide from August 9th.

The story is about a protagonist who works hard behind the scenes and “becomes the main character,” and it makes you feel the potential of the power of music, as listening to music on Spotify can make “one day feel a little better” or “one day feel more positive.”

In addition, a countdown page will be available for Spotify listeners only from August 8th, which will provide short videos (Clips) related to the album as well as a pre-save function, counting down to the moment the album is released with a variety of content.

On the album release date, the popular playlist series “Liner Voice+” will be released exclusively on Spotify, in which the artists themselves talk about the thoughts and production stories behind each song. Three of the 20 songs will be delivered as special video podcasts with English subtitles on the interview footage.

Other features include Canvas and Playlist Stories, allowing you to enjoy music visually, creating a special experience that is unique to Spotify.

In addition, a special commentary video about “RED OUT” will be available exclusively to Spotify users on the special website that will be released on August 21, and a novelty gift campaign will be held exclusively for premium users.
