It has been announced that Neguse’s song “Time Machine Ni Notte” will be used in the new TV commercial “The Joy of Seeing” for Heart Up, a contact lens and eyeglasses specialty store, which will air in the Tokai region from August 8th.

The commercial stars actress Anna Yamada, who serves as the image character for Heart Up. Together with a high school girl who has just switched to contact lenses, a tennis club member, and a woman in love, Yamada expresses the “joy of being able to see.” The commercial conveys the message that Yamada will support everyone’s brilliant contact lens life by smiling and accompanying them in the moments of joy and excitement when their vision becomes clearer.

The song used is “Time Machine Ni Notte” by Neguse, a popular band that is popular mainly among Gen Z, including “Good Music,” which was nominated for one of the 30 “TikTok Buzzword Awards 2022.”

In addition, a behind-the-scenes interview video was released to commemorate the release of the TV commercial. In the interview, Yamada talks about his school days and his recent “joys.”

Q. How do you feel after finishing filming the commercial?
Yamada: Today, I was the one leading the charge in the commercial, so I made the theme of being especially cheerful and smiling. It was a lot of fun jumping and doing rhythmic movements with the other cast members in this colorful background.

Q. What would you like to tell people who watch the new commercial?
Yamada: I would be very happy if everyone who watches the commercial feels like something fun is going to happen when they buy contact lenses from Heart Up.

Q. In the new commercial, you are shown having fun with students. What kind of student life did you have, Yamada-san?
Yamada: My school days were just as fun, but I was already working in high school, so I was really worried about whether to take the university entrance exam or continue with my job. At that time, I made the choice to focus on my job, and I even transferred to a new school. This year marks more than 10 years since my debut, and I think that decision in high school was when I solidified my resolve to focus on my current job.

Q. The new commercial expresses the “joy of being able to see,” but could you tell us what your recent “joy is”?
Yamada: I’m happy that I’ve been able to do a wide range of work this year, including action scenes, voice acting, movies, and dramas. I think every day that it’s a miracle that I’ve been able to do so many different jobs, and I really feel that I’m living a happy life.
