The eight artists who will be performing the ending theme for WOWOW’s “Golden Kamuy: Hokkaido Tattoo Prisoner Battle Arc,” the first in a series of sequels to the blockbuster film “Golden Kamuy,” have been announced.
The eight artists who were announced this time are ACIDMAN, who also performed the theme song for the movie, (Alexandros), &TEAM, Kami wa Saikoro wo Furanai, GLIM SPANKY, THE SPELLBOUND, Straightener, and Anonymous Taro. (In alphabetical order)
The ending theme changes for each of the nine episodes, and the artists who are currently the hottest in the music scene have come together to create this thrilling, entertaining masterpiece. The theme song for the movie, “Kagayakeru Mono” by ACIDMAN, will continue to be available in the drama version, and the titles of the songs by each artist and which episodes they will be performing the ending theme for will be announced at a later date.
As powerful enemies stand in their way one after another and a fierce three-way battle rife with animosity ensues, the 9-episode drama series will fully depict the turbulent journey of Sugimoto Saichi, played by Yamazaki Kento (the official spelling of the kanji character 崎 is “tatsusaki”). It will be broadcast and streamed exclusively on WOWOW from 10 p.m. on October 6th.
