It has been announced that two songs will be released digitally on August 22nd: “Madazushii Mirai,” a new song by SingTuyo, a unit consisting of Kusanagi Tsuyoshi (the official spelling of “Nagi” is the kanji for “bow” with “mae” and “sword”) and Katori Shingo, and “SEASONS,” a new solo song by Inagaki Goro.
These two songs were first performed at “NAKAMA to OSHOGATSU – We look forward to seeing you in 2024” held on New Year’s Day 2024, and until now they could only be heard at the event venue, but it has now been decided that they will finally be made available for download.
SingTuyo’s new song “Magatsumashii Mirai” is his first release in 6 years and 3 months since “KISS is my life.” in April 2018. The lyrics were written by actress Juri Ueno, and the music was composed and arranged by Ueno’s husband, Sho Wada, who is also a member of the group TRICERATOPS.
Wada is Kusanagi’s guitar teacher, and he imagined Kusanagi playing the acoustic guitar on stage while expanding the image of the song. This rock and pop work is a positive song that is typical of SingTuyo.
Goro Inagaki has released his first new song in 5 years and 8 months since “SUZUNARI” in December 2018. “SEASONS” is a song that Goro Inagaki asked TENDERE, who he has been a fan of for a long time, to write. The mellow and unique chords are refreshing yet nostalgic, and the song matches well with Inagaki’s vocals.
