Ado’s song “Sho” will be featured in the Halloween event to be held at Universal Studios Japan in 2024, following last year’s. A dance video with Ado’s comments has also been released.

Universal Studios Japan will be holding a hugely popular Halloween event every year from September 5th. At “Halloween Horror Night” (held from September 6th to November 4th), “Zombie de Dance” will be re-released, where guests throughout the park dance to Ado’s song “Sho”, which became a social phenomenon with related videos being viewed over 100 million times on TikTok in 2023. In advance of this, the “#USJSho Dance Challenge” will also start in 2024.

In addition, a “Zombie de Dance” video featuring a comment from Ado, the captain of the “Blue Rose Security Force” that will face off against vicious zombies together with new Guests appearing in the park in 2024, has been released on Universal Studios Japan’s official social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, X, etc.).

Hello. This is Ado. Thank you so much to everyone who listened to and sang the collaboration song “Sho” that was released last year for USJ’s “Halloween Horror Night”. I was very happy that so many people tried out the “Zombie de Dance”, a “scary but fun” entertainment at USJ, where people dance to this song. I watched a lot of your videos, and they made me feel so excited that I wanted to dance too.
This year, I will be participating in Halloween at USJ as the captain of the Blue Rose Squad, a security force that fights against vicious zombies. Together with everyone, I will face the hordes of zombies that attack one after another in the park, using the power of my songs to lift the curse.
In addition, the “#USJChantingDanceChallenge” will be starting on TikTok again this year! You can enjoy “Zombie Dance” with the same choreography as last year, or you can go beyond the boundaries of the choreography and dance however you like, adding your own arrangements to the dance.

Q. What would you like to try this Halloween?
I thought Halloween was something I would never have anything to do with, so I stayed indoors until now, but this year I want to go outside and see lots of Halloween ghosts and eat lots of different sweets. My goal for this year’s Halloween is to enjoy Halloween as one of the participants.
