To celebrate the debut anniversary of Kis-My-Ft2, it has been decided that “Kis-My-Ft2 Debut Anniversary Encore Special” will be broadcast on WOWOW from midnight on August 10th.
This special feature will feature a total of four programs, including the “Kis-My-Ft2-For dear life-” Tokyo performance and three episodes of the WOWOW original program “Kis-My-Ft2 WOWOW Special Interview & Document-Life – Where Kis-My-Ft2 Is Now,” which delves into Kis-My-Ft2 from various angles, mainly through interviews with the members. All four programs will be broadcast and streamed at once.
■ “Kis-My-Ft2-For dear life-” Tokyo performance will be broadcast
Kis-My-Ft2 has a new lineup since September 2023. We will exclusively broadcast and stream the final performance of the nationwide arena tour “Kis-My-Ft2-For dear life-” that started in October of the same year. The new Kis-My-Ft2 launched their YouTube channel in September 2023 and began their nationwide tour in October. They have been active, releasing a new double A-side single “HEARTBREAKER / C’monova” on January 3, 2024. The new single reached No. 1 on the Oricon singles ranking, demonstrating their overwhelming artist power with 31 consecutive No. 1 singles since their debut.

■”Kis-My-Ft2’s Current Location” is a program that delves into Kis-My-Ft2 through interviews with the members.
Not only “idols,” but six unique members who are active in all directions of the entertainment industry as actors and hosts, and who are currently making remarkable inroads into various cultures. If you were to describe their work, it would not be an exaggeration to say that it is “occupation: Kis-My-Ft2.” It is no longer a “job,” but a “way of life,” a “way of living,” life itself. WOWOW will broadcast and stream an unprecedented interview and documentary program that delves into the “truth of Kis-My-Ft2” of each of the six members.
Two members appear in each interview. They talk thoroughly about “present and future,” “front and back,” “ideals and reality,” “calmness and passion,” “black and white”… from various angles, delivering their “feelings” and “thoughts.” In addition, the documentary section will air a full three-part program featuring backstage footage from their latest live tour. The “real” story of the new Kis-My-Ft2 will be wrapped up in three parts. Keep an eye out for the special WOWOW program.
