INI's "THE FRAME" reaches first million views! "It's all thanks to everyone at MINI"

INI’s sixth single “THE FRAME,” released on June 26th, has been certified as a gold disc by the Recording Industry Association of Japan, achieving one million copies shipped, making it her first million-selling single.

The album sold over 812,000 copies in its first week of release, and was the sixth consecutive number one on major music charts such as Billboard and Oricon, starting with their debut single “A.” It also achieved 50 crowns on various other music charts, setting a new record for the group.

In addition to the title song “LOUD”, the members participated in the production of songs such as “Walkie Talkie” written by member Nishi Kouhito, and “I’ma Dreamer” in which Heo Pung-Fon participated in writing lyrics for the first time. In addition, Ikezaki Masato (the official spelling of 崎 is Tatsusaki) skillfully expressed the costumes worn by the members in the “LOUD” music video, making this a work that challenges new creativity in many areas, not just performance.

As a group, they have been appearing on music shows in Japan and Korea, as well as at music festivals in Japan and abroad, and as individuals, they have expanded their scope of activities by appearing in dramas and movies as actors, and are expanding their fan base. In the end of July, the number of copies shipped of “THE FRAME” exceeded 1 million, leading to the million-seller certification.

This marks the third million-certified album in 2024, and INI members commented on achieving the million-seller milestone, saying, “Our sixth single, “THE FRAME,” has reached one million copies. We owe it all to all the people at MINI who support us every day. We will use this record as motivation to continue to improve, and continue to work hard so that we can see many different views with all the people at MINI.”

Starting on September 21st, INI will hold a fan concert called “2024 INI FAN-CON TOUR (FLIP THE CIRCLE),” visiting 11 cities across the country, the most of any band to date.
