Nijiconquistador reveals fresh swimsuit shots of members from their 10th anniversary photobook

■ Group shots of all 16 members dressed in their previous costumes have also been released

Nijiconquistador, an indoor orthodox idol group that pursues what they think is “cute!” and “love!”, will release a photo book commemorating the 10th anniversary of their formation, “Nijiconquistador 10th ANNIVERSARY BOOK “Rainbow Memories”” on August 9th. Swimsuit shots and group shots of the group in all their previous costumes have been released from the pages.

Nijiconquistador is produced by Maiko Fukushima (Mofu-chan), who also works with Dempagumi.inc. They are known by many idol fans as Nijicon due to the number of summer songs they claim to have and their passionate live performances.

This work, produced to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the group’s formation, is a gravure shoot with the theme of “never-ending school festival” set in a school. The 16 members, including Okada Ayame and Kanda Juna, who will graduate from the group on August 17, and preparatory school students, are shown in a friendly and youthful manner.

The cover that was just released shows the members gathered in a classroom. Each of the 16 members is wearing a uniform-style outfit that matches their character, and the pop design of the title “Rainbow Memories” combines to create a cover that is typical of Nijicon.

In addition, the members are shown in colorful swimsuits from the main story, as well as group shots in their past costumes. The shots show them innocently playing around, and even making their hearts skip a beat.

The page introducing the idols’ symbolic stage costumes includes everything from rare costumes that even fans have rarely seen in person to the latest outfits. 34 outfits carefully selected from Nijicon’s 10-year history are introduced along with comments from the members.

Just as the seasons change every year, but no two are the same, Nijicon has shown many different faces for the past 10 years. But what makes them Nijicon is always the same. The members of Nijicon are “everywhere, yet nowhere.” I’m very happy to be able to record this miracle in a photo book. Even in the future, and even as different times come, I hope they will continue to be that kind of presence that gives the illusion that they’ll be together forever.
