■The theme of the music video is “Girls who wanted to make the summer beach special”
Nogizaka46 has released the music video for their 36th single, “Cheat Day” (released on August 21st).
This music video was shot over two days in Singapore in late July. With the theme of “Girls who wanted to make the summer beach special,” it depicts the memories of a summer in which high school students attending a Japanese school overseas and university students in an international exchange club sweat and create a mini FM. The director was Shujin Ito, who also directed “Ohitorisama Tengoku” (2023).
The shoot took place in many locations that would normally be impossible to film, including Singapore’s famous sites “Sentosa Island” and “Gardens by the Bay,” as well as in the middle of a shopping mall. Pay attention to the expressions of the members that can only be seen in places far from their everyday lives.
Nogizaka46 is currently holding their nationwide dome and stadium tour “Midsummer National Tour 2024.” We can’t wait to see how their new songs will develop during this tour.
