BE:FIRST's Ryouki Miyama to release his first photo book "Gaze"! Looking at himself in the streets of Paris

BE:FIRST’s Ryouki Miyama has announced that his first photo book, “Gaze,” will be released on October 16th.

The location chosen for the photobook is Paris, a place she has always wanted to visit. While touring the beautiful city of Paris, she captures everything from innocent scenes of Parisians enjoying their daily lives, to elegant scenes of art, to a startlingly mature side, to a relaxed and sweet mood. The book is packed with Miyama’s various gazes, or “Gaze,” including what she sees and what her heart gazes at. A handwritten message from Miyama herself is also included.

In addition to the regular version, a special limited edition of the photo book is also planned to be released.

I am pleased to announce that I will be publishing my first photo book! I chose Paris, France, as the location, as I have always wanted to visit. The fashionable cityscape is picturesque no matter where I shoot, and everything I see is fresh and inspiring. The title “Gaze” means to look at or gaze, and in this photo book, I want you to pay attention to my “eyes”. There are many shots where I feel the expression in my eyes is impressive. The shoot in Paris was a turning point that strangely changed the way I think about many things. I hope that in the photo book, you can feel the emotions of that moment, where I am looking, and the changes and growth that occurred through the shoot. Please look forward to it!
