Snow Man’s Raul takes on a 9-year-old genius mathematician!? Nakajima Kento also appears on “Sunday First Time Hearing”

■12-year-old jazz pianist Ai Furusato performs a live mix of Snow Man’s “Brother Beat”!

Nakajima Kento and Snow Man’s Raul will appear on the MBS/TBS program “Sunday First Time Hearing” which will air on August 11th.

This time, we will be broadcasting the popular program “First Time Gifted,” which introduces the geniuses of the new era. Four gifted people will appear.

Ai Furusato is a 12-year-old jazz pianist who was accepted into the prestigious Berklee College of Music in 2024 as the youngest person in the world. She is also a rising star in the Japanese jazz world, and Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra’s Atsushi Yanaka has highly praised her, saying, “She’s a genius! She has a great talent for speaking the language of jazz.” Why was she fascinated by jazz? Why did she aim for Berklee College of Music? There are thoughts that you wouldn’t expect from a 12-year-old… And she says that her dream is to win a Grammy by the time she’s 20, and she plays a live mix of her original songs and Snow Man’s “Brother Beat” in the studio. The studio is overjoyed at Furusato’s performance.

Aise Toyokawa is a 9-year-old genius mathematician who will lead the future of Japanese mathematics and was selected by the Masayoshi Son Educational Foundation in 2024. He started learning multiplication tables at the age of 1, passed the third-level mathematics test at the age of 5, and passed the pre-first-level mathematics test at the third-year level of high school when he was in the third grade of elementary school. Toyokawa has a genius level of intelligence, but what kind of daily life does he lead? And how did he grow up? We will get to the bottom of this mystery. Toyokawa, who enjoys studying, says that his dream for the future is to win the Fields Medal, which is awarded once every four years to outstanding mathematicians under the age of 40. And such Toyokawa brings a math problem for “Hatsumimigaku”. Studio guest Raul gives a brilliant answer, but Toyokawa shows off a more elegant way of solving it, showing off his amazing skills.

The 13-year-old genius CG creator Yomota Yuta has been praised by VFX maestro Director Yamazaki Takashi as having “a great ability to tell a story. An amazing talent.” The film “PICTO” was highly praised for its completeness and was nominated at international film festivals, and Yomota created everything from the story, CG design, camerawork, and sound effects all by himself. However, Yomota had trouble with group activities at school. However, he says, “Rather than trying to cover up your weaknesses, you should use your strengths to get the most out of your efforts.” Yomota showed off his original CG animation created for “Hatsumimigaku” in the studio. Everyone in the studio was astonished by the shocking quality.

Tokyo 2020 Olympic gymnastics bronze medalist Mai Murakami also praises the physical abilities of world-class tricker Mito Kano (13 years old). Just two and a half years after starting the sport, she won the women’s division of the World Tricking Championships. We will find out the secret behind Kano’s strength. Kano has a natural core and is also extremely competitive. We were shown her practice and were shocked by her surprising stoicism. What is Kano’s dream for the future as she continues to work towards her dream? She also demonstrates her world-class tricking in the studio. Her stunning technique, which spins so fast it’s hard to keep up with the eyes, is met with applause.

In addition to Nakajima Kento and Raul, Kishima Mayu, Sawabe Yu (Haraichi), Shirayama Noa, and Tamura Atsushi will also appear in the studio.
