Behind-the-scenes footage from the pre-release event for the film “Akabane Kotsuko’s Bodyguard,” which was held at Seiryo Junior and Senior High School on July 25th and drew an enthusiastic crowd of about 100 students, has been released.
As it was a surprise appearance, the lead actor Raul (Snow Man) looked nervous even before the event. On the other hand, Natsuki Deguchi, who plays the heroine Honeko, was in high spirits at the school event.
When Raul, Deguchi, Okudaira Daiken, and Takahashi Hikaru (the character “Taka” is officially spelled with a はしごだか) appeared in front of the students who had been gathered under the pretext of learning self-defense techniques, the students erupted in a scream-like cheer.
The comedy duo Nishikigoi also participated in the event, as their costumes resemble those of the school’s uniforms. The troupe’s leader, Raul, carefully rehearsed the setting of alumni and juniors from Shojoji High School, and livened up the venue with some ad-lib, making the surprise a huge success.
