Ai Iinuma & Yusei Yagi (FANTASTICS) appear in the drama “Minami-kun is my Lover!?” A special guest appears at the end of the 4th episode

■Mariko Kaga gives her stamp of approval to Maika Yamamoto’s role as “Young Yuriko”! “She has a similar vibe to me when I was younger.”

Ai Iinuma and Yusei Yagi (FANTASTICS) star in the drama “Minami-kun is my Lover!?” (TV Asahi). The fourth episode of this heartwarming home-love comedy with a unique setting in which Yusei Yagi’s character Minami-kun becomes palm-sized at 15 centimeters will be broadcast on August 13th at 9pm.

There are more developments in the love battle surrounding Minami-kun, who is ostensibly “traveling”… And at the end of the fourth episode, a shocking event befalls Chiyomi and Minami-kun… The appearance of some of the most famous guests in Okada’s scripts is also something to look out for.

■ Episode 4 Synopsis
Kaede (Kimura Yoshino) is suspicious of Horikiri Chiyomi (Iinuma Ai) who is talking to someone in a room where “no one should be” and calls “someone” “Minami-kun”. She decides to enter the room. When Kaede asks, “Is there a little Minami-kun (Yagi Yusei)?” Chiyomi replies, “Yes, there is”, and shows her a “little Minami-kun doll” that she made in the handicraft club. Chiyomi desperately tries to cover it up and somehow gets away with it, but she doesn’t know if she has been able to dispel the suspicions of Kaede, Yuriko (Kaga Mariko), and Shintaro (Takeda Shinji), and she feels embarrassed about herself acting alone with the doll.

At that time, Kaede, Yuriko, and Shintaro were holding a meeting to come up with a plan for “Chiyomi, who talks to the Minami-kun doll by herself.” As they talked about their own stories about dolls from their younger days, they came to the conclusion that “we should stop thinking of Chiyomi as a pathetic person.”

The next morning, after the shocking family dinner, Chiyomi leaves the house and shows the “small Minami-kun doll” to Kimura Hisako = Chaco (Muro Shigeru). Succeeding in diverting suspicion for the time being, Chiyomi heads briskly to school with the real Minami-kun in her pocket. Chiyomi and Minami-kun feel happy to be together forever, but after they go to watch Minami-kun’s university basketball team game together, a shocking incident befalls them…!

■In episode 4, Yamamoto Maika makes a cameo appearance as a younger version of Kaga Mariko!
In the fourth episode, an episode about the younger days of Yuriko, the “Great Teacher” played by Mariko Kaga, is shown. The role of “young Yuriko” is played by none other than Maika Yamamoto! Kaga herself even gave her stamp of approval, saying, “She has a similar ‘air’ to me when I was younger,” making her the perfect fit for the role of Yuriko.

Also worth checking out are the adorable young Yuriko played by Yamamoto, and the unknown love life of the “great teacher.”
