A special video entitled “Please Don’t Forget,” in which lead actress Fuka Koshiba performs an answer reading of her thoughts on the message contained in the tear-jerking theme song “Please Forget,” has been released on the NTV drama’s official YouTube channel and other official social media accounts.

Fuka Koshiba commented, “I think the theme song, ‘Please Forget,’ is a song that contains a gentle message from a deceased person saying, if a loved one who is still alive can be happy, then please forget about them. The theme song, written by Yorushika specifically for this drama, gently envelops the entire drama and is a wonderful piece of music that, like Mita Sakura, is close to the body of the deceased. When I did an answer reading of the theme song, I was overwhelmed by the lyrics, which really touched my heart, and I came close to tears several times.”

The story of “GO HOME ~Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department Unidentified Persons Consultation Room~” finally reveals Sakura’s mysterious past. The reason why Sakura prays at the nameless gravestone and why she volunteered to work at the Unidentified Persons Consultation Room is revealed. Episode 5 will air from 9:00 pm on August 17th. Episodes 1 to 4 are available for free on TVer.

■ Comment from Fuka Koshiba
I think the theme song “Wasurete Kudasai” is a song that contains a kind message from a deceased person saying, “If the person you love who is alive now can be happy, please forget about me.” The theme song that Yorushika wrote for this drama gently envelops the entire drama, and is a wonderful song that is close to the deceased’s body like Mita Sakura. This time, I was in charge of reading the theme song (answer reading), and I was so overwhelmed that I almost cried several times. The lyrics are deeply moving, and I think that the part “Leave it at the end of a long, long maze” represents the future life of the person left behind, and I got emotional when I imagined that at the end of that maze, the person I loved who has passed away is waiting for me. Now that I am alive and well, I want to count the things that are important to me and cherish each and every moment, and I once again felt how happy I am to have family and people around me who cherish me. The story of “GO HOME ~ Metropolitan Police Department Unidentified Persons Consultation Room ~” will finally reveal Sakura’s mysterious past. In the previous episodes, Sakura has been ignoring her mother’s calls, but in episode 5, we may find out the reason for this, her relationship with her family, and the person she has been searching for… Episode 5 will air on Saturday, August 17th at 9pm. Be sure to check it out!
